These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to text message communications sent by or on behalf of MEDHERO.
By opting in to receive text messages from MEDHERO, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions.

1. SMS Program Description
MEDHERO may send text messages related to general practice updates, educational content, service information, promotional offers, membership information, appointment-related updates, and other communications related to MEDHERO.
Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology.
Message frequency may vary.
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from MEDHERO, you consent to receive recurring automated promotional, marketing, informational, and/or transactional text messages from MEDHERO at the mobile number provided.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing services, booking an appointment, becoming a patient, or receiving care from MEDHERO.
Email consent and SMS consent are collected separately. Providing your phone number does not automatically enroll you in SMS marketing unless you separately opt in to receive text messages.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages depending on your mobile plan. MEDHERO is not responsible for any messaging, data, or other charges from your mobile carrier.
4. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from MEDHERO at any time by replying STOP to any text message from MEDHERO.
After you reply STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you should no longer receive SMS messages from MEDHERO unless you opt in again.

6. Medical Information and SMS Communications
MEDHERO is a medical practice. SMS messages are not intended to be used for protected health information, medical records, lab results, diagnosis information, treatment instructions, urgent medical questions, or emergency communications.
Please do not send sensitive medical information, symptoms, diagnoses, lab results, medication details, insurance information, urgent concerns, or confidential medical information by SMS unless MEDHERO specifically provides a secure method for doing so.
If you have patient-specific medical questions, please contact MEDHERO through the secure communication method provided by the practice or call the office directly.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.
7. Marketing Communications
MEDHERO may use SMS to send general educational content, service updates, promotional messages, membership information, practice updates, and other marketing communications where permitted by law and based on your consent.
Marketing SMS messages are not intended to contain protected health information, lab results, diagnosis information, treatment instructions, urgent medical communications, or patient-specific medical advice.
8. Appointment and Informational Messages
MEDHERO may use SMS to send appointment-related reminders, scheduling updates, administrative notices, or other informational messages where permitted by law.
SMS appointment and informational messages may not include all details related to your care. You should refer to secure MEDHERO communication channels, your provider, or the office directly for patient-specific medical information.
9. Delivery Is Not Guaranteed
MEDHERO does not guarantee that SMS messages will be delivered, delivered on time, or received.
Message delivery may be affected by your mobile carrier, network availability, device settings, signal strength, service interruptions, or other factors outside of MEDHERO’s control.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Supported Carriers
SMS messages may not be available through all mobile carriers or in all areas. Availability may depend on your mobile carrier, wireless plan, device, and location.
11. Your Mobile Number
You represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide to MEDHERO.
If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, you agree to opt out of MEDHERO SMS messages before discontinuing use of that number or notify MEDHERO directly at info@medhero.com or (949) 207-3603.
12. Privacy
Your use of MEDHERO SMS communications is also governed by MEDHERO’s Privacy Policy and, where applicable, MEDHERO’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
MEDHERO does not intentionally use SMS marketing platforms to collect, store, or transmit protected health information.
13. Changes to SMS Terms
MEDHERO may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Your continued participation in MEDHERO’s SMS program after updates are posted means you accept the updated SMS Terms & Conditions.
